How a Hot Glue Gun Works
Hot glue guns melt solid glue sticks using an electric heating element – either PTC ceramic for fast, even heat-up or a heating cartridge for particularly precise temperature control. A mechanical feed trigger continuously advances the glue stick while the molten adhesive flows through the nozzle.
Depending on the model, devices reach temperatures between 140°C and 230°C with heat-up times of as little as 30 seconds up to a maximum of 5 minutes. Pro models offer variable temperature control and an LCD display for material-specific working. The fold-out stand prevents surface contamination and allows safe placement of the gun during work breaks.

Temperature Control
