Tacker Staples

Fine wire staples

are mainly used for fastening fabrics. The thin staple causes minimal damage to the material.

Flat wire staples

are particularly suitable for working with sheeting. The staple’s flat back fixes the sheeting and secures it against tearing.

Narrow crown staples

are particularly used for panelling work with and without cladding clips.

Tacker nails

are used to quickly fasten decorative trims and corner mouldings. Thanks to their tiny head, tacker nails are almost invisible.

The Novus staple quality.

Novus offers the right size and length of fasteners for every task. They are manufactured with the latest technology from the very best materials. Novus only uses steel wires with a galvanised surface – for high environmental compatibility and optimum rust protection.

The V2A stainless steel staples are particularly suitable for permanent outdoor use. From a length of 8 mm, only hard wire is used. The term “super-hard” denotes a steel wire of the highest strength and thus documents the staple’s stability.

You're always sure of good results with the right staple length. So you should use 1/3 staple length for the fastening material, and we recommend 2/3 staple length for the anchoring material. If you are using a hardwood as the anchoring material, a 1/1 ratio is enough.

Why use branded staples?

Because any chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And when it comes to tacker, that’s often the fastener. Only fasteners made by brand manufacturers continuously meet the high standards of quality required to achieve perfect tacking results.

High-quality branded fasteners are defined by the following criteria:

Perfectly accurate sizing so fasteners slide smoothly through the tacker’s staple magazine
The right amount of adhesive to ensure the staple bar doesn’t break apart but individual staples separate easily when tacking
Sufficiently firm wire for clean perforation of the material you want to tack

Using staples that fail to meet even one of these quality criteria may limit the functionality of your tacker.

The above criteria are especially important when working with high-impact devices, because fasteners that do not meet quality criteria such as sufficiently firm wire will be unable to withstand the high forces that may occur when tacking. Use Novus tacker staples labelled “superhard” to be on the safe side!
