zum staplefinderYou're always sure of good results with the right staple length. So you should use 1/3 staple length for the fastening material, and we recommend 2/3 staple length for the anchoring material. If you are using a hardwood as the anchoring material, a 1/1 ratio is enough.

Using staples that fail to meet even one of these quality criteria may limit the functionality of your tacker.
The above criteria are especially important when working with high-impact devices, because fasteners that do not meet quality criteria such as sufficiently firm wire will be unable to withstand the high forces that may occur when tacking. Use Novus tacker staples labelled “superhard” to be on the safe side!
