Tradition
The history of the DAHLE brand goes back almost a century:
Founded by Wilhelm Dahle in 1930, the company originally produced milling cutters. Just a few years later, those milling cutters became sharpening machines, which remain part of our successful DAHLE range to this day. Office equipment has been at the heart of our product range from the very beginning. Over time, we expanded into other relevant segments: the company has also been producing guillotines for over 60 years. Recognisable by their typical DAHLE blue, they have been reliably serving our customers around the world, in some cases for decades. The quality and safety of our products is our highest priority and was revolutionised, for example, through the invention of our unique automatic safety guard. We at DAHLE have always focused on how we can benefit our customers: in the late 1980s we developed the first desktop document shredder, which additionally came at a price below the 499 DM tax deductible limit of the time.
