Security for your documents
All Dahle document shredders are certified in accordance with the most common security standards. Our shredders with strip cut are suitable for documents that do not contain any sensitive or personal data. Depending on the model, these machines create paper strips between 2 mm and 6 mm wide, meaning they are suitable for GDPR-compliant shredding. You can find these in our range of document shredders with security level P-2 and security level P-3.
If you are looking to shred documents containing sensitive data, you will need shredders with a security level of P-4 or higher. In offices, for example, for data protection reasons, the particles created from shredding must be particularly small so documents cannot be reassembled. To achieve this, we recommend document shredders with particle or cross cut. For the highest level of security, you will need a document shredder with micro cut.
